PORTRAIT TERMS

My pricing is directly based upon the amount of time I expect will be necessary to deliver the portrait you desire. Variables influencing cost include such factors as the number of required sittings, backgrounds and clothing, size and postures and the nature of the subject matter involved. These variables will be discussed on our first meeting and a firm price decided upon. The chart below provides a general guideline as to what pricing you should expect.

In every event, a firm price will be discussed and agreed upon in writing prior to starting.

A non-refundable $300 deposit is required to reserve a spot on my calendar. Reasonable travel expenses for portraits outside of the immediate St. Louis, Missouri area are additional.

*The above pricing assumes a background of your choice. Pricing may increase where there are special considerations out of the ordinary, for example, detailed lace patterms in the clothing or a background that is particularly elaborate.

Art Reproductions

Additional art reproductions on canvas (giclee prints) can be ordered for or by other family members or interested parties, pricing will vary.

Framing

Although the artist is not responsible for framing, I will be pleased to help you choose and order an appropriate frame to be paid for by the client. I currently charge a flat $50 fee for this service, and provide the frames at my cost, with no mark-up.

Commitments

Finally, All of my portraiture work is unconditionally guaranteed.  Quite simply, if you are not satisfied, you are under no obligation to pay anything other than my booking fee, however, I retain ownership of the portrait.  This commitment assures you that I will deliver the highest quality portrait I am capable of, keeping you informed of its progress at certain stages along the way.  This also assures you of complete satisfaction on a uniquely special decision. I pride myself in delivering exceptional quality work at an appropriate value with every commission.
